Review
The movie “The Buckingham Murders” also touches on the aspects of the immigrant perspective, especially focusing on the protagonist as an outcast in the town. This narrative device serves towards the exploration of social issues such as identity, belonging, and internalized racism in enclaves.
In such contexts, the realities of the protagonist become symbolic, for an illustration, the endless yearning for inclusion and finding a home amidst the inhospitable atmosphere.
The climax is perfectly crafted so that the viewer is always on a verge to pop themselves.
Cinematography
Another contributing factor to the scene is in the film’s cinematography by Emma Dalesman. So as to heighten suspense, to portray the emotional state of the lead character, and to help achieve the objective of certain scenes, the appropriate use of lighting, color and angles is employed.
Editor of The Buckingham Murders
To this end, Amitesh Mukherjee’s editing cuts back and forth between different timelines without losing the audience’s attention, at least with respect to the pace.
Music
The original score of the film, attached to the names of Karan Kulkarni and Bally Sagoo, captures the viewer’s attention. Ketan Sodha’s background score is skillfully deployed at establishing a sense of dread, which underlines the film’s core message of grief and seeking the answers posed within it.
